Art style change - lack of community reaction?

I haven't been part of this community for the last 3 year because I decided back in 2020 that Visionary Realms was deliberately misleading people when the confessed that everything they had shown until 2019 needs to be remade and the game isnt anywhere close to BETA/release.

But once upon a time back in 2017 I was so excited about this project that I pledged 1000$ to it and spent my weekends playing pre alpha and writing bug reports.

Now 3 years after I left the Pantheon community I stumbled across a youtube video showing this 247 disaster. But while I am watching this I noticed that they also changed the art style into some really shitty cartoon graphics.

So basically after annoucing in 2019 everything the created the first 5 years needs to be redone we are here again 4 years later. A completely different art / graphic style is announced and again with the "confession" that the games is YEARS away from release. Thats just crazy...

But on a quick browse through this forum I dont see any outrage about the art style and the fact that this is happening the second time now?

Why not??? Am I missing something here?

I get that the 247 mode might have taken most of attention but to me the change in art style and clear evidence that they are misleading thier community AGAIN with final result that even if they game would ever release it would look absolutely shit is the much bigger issue.

As mentioned above I disengaged from the game but if it did eventually release I would have gladly played it and I would have even donate more to an almost finished game.

Now I would definitely not play this game and when the game get inevitably cancelled I would definitely try to get my 1000$ back I pledged. Not because I need the money just because Visionary Realm ran a boarderline scam for the last 10 years here milking the nostalgia of Everquest.

Maybe I am missing something here but from what I saw and read I am just disappointed and disgusted by this whole mess. Also confused why there arent 10 posts on top of this forum discussing why the change in artstyle is shit and completely unacceptable.
