How are yall getting so many plushies??

Alright I’ve been playing for a long time now and I only last week had my first plush drop from hunting. I’ve never in any other way had any other plushies drop from hunting, catching bugs, or now fishing. What is the secret? I can’t believe people even get so many let alone have enough they want to trade!
