Reassurance about PSSD

Just thought it would be good for people to post some of the reassuring thoughts/interactions they’ve had with the medical community about PSSD. Was only on my course for 5 days before discontinuation, saw a senior GP at my local clinic instead of the young doctor that originally prescribed loxalate. After mentioning my concerns about PSSD to my surprise he said it was something he was looking into and has been reading about it. Although he did say, as we all know, SSRIs in general are under researched, it was reassuring to hear a GP of all people say they were researching it. Also reassuringly said that 5 days isn’t enough time for long term side effects to happen in his opinion. Great to hear doctors educating themselves about this condition, shows having these discussions and telling your story is raising awareness.
