Best place to look to purchase a psp?

Really wanting a PSP, checked local retro gaming stores and sure enough, they say that the PSPs are always the first to get sold. Definitely a hot commodity.

Preferably looking to purchase the Monster Hunter 3000 edition, is Ebay my best bet? Always get nervous with Ebay, and I know they make the fake limited edition shells and don't want to get scammed into paying that much for a fake shell.
