fear of getting sick

how do y’all deal with the fear of getting sick and and worsening pots as a consequence? i get so scared every time someone around me is sick. i mask everywhere except at home but it feels impossible to avoid. people around me act like im unreasonable but they don’t understand how horrible it is to have pots. the fear of getting even worse is overwhelming
