Are "Self-Organizing Teams" Actually BS?
I gotta ask - is this whole "self-organizing teams" thing just buzzword bingo?
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for team autonomy, but let's be real - these teams still need leadership. Just not the micromanaging kind. The best self-organizing teams I've seen had strong leaders who acted more like coaches, clearing roadblocks and providing guidance when needed.
Anyone else feel like we're missing the point in this "leaders vs self-organizing" debate? What's your experience been?
