Injection Site: Lower abdomen vs. stomach

I’ve been injecting in the lower abdomen area (the 2 lower sections circled in picture) but I see everyone talking about injecting in the stomach. Should I be injecting higher up, like the 2 upper sections in the picture? I don’t feel like my “food noise” has gone away and thankfully I don’t have too terrible side effects. I don’t want to assume that no side effects means it’s not working, but I do want to make sure I’m injecting in the area that’s going to have the highest effect.
