Illari Rework

Here is my attempt at reworking Illari. I have given her a new Passive + ability while reworking Healing Pylon. This post is quite long by has been spaced out into sections, I have provide some notes along side any state changes to passives/abelites to hopefully better explain them.

Feel free to give me any feedback you like.

PASSIVES -

SUPPORT ROLE PASSIVE

(The Same Passive Everyone Support has)

SUN SCORCHED (NEW PASSIVE)

Damaging an enemy temporarily reduces their healing received.

Healing Modification:

  • -20% received (Non-Tanks)
  • -10% received (tanks)

Duration: 2 seconds

NOTES:

  • Dose not stack with itself or the DPS passive (if a player is damage by both Illari and a DPS, they will only receive the healing reduction from the DPS passive).
  • Stacks multiplicatively with other modifiers that affect healing received.
  • This passive is just a weaker version of the DPS passive.

WEAPON -

PRIMARY FIRE (not changed)

SECONDARY FIRE (BUFFED)

Max. Range: Increased from 15.3 to 25 meters.

Reload Time:

  • decreased from 2.9 to 2.4 (recharge to full)
  • decreased from 3.36 to 3 seconds (cooldown when fully depleted)

ABILITES -

SOLAR SNARE (NEW ABILITY)

Fire a small explosive ball of solar energy. Enemy's hit are slowed for a short duration.

Key Binding: LSHIFT

Cool-Down: 12 seconds

Effect Type: Projectile/area of effect

Damage:

  • 5 (Direct Hit)
  • 30 (Splash Damage)

Headshot:

Movement Slow: -30% slow

Duration: 3 seconds

Area of effect: 4 meters

Projectile Speed: 30 m/s

Projectile Radius: 20

NOTES:

  • This ability works like Ana's biotic Grenade, but instead of anti heal/healing it simply decreases enemy movement speed.
  • Note this ability can be fired during captive sun (after you have fired the captive sun projectile)

OUTBURST (CHANGED SLIGHTLY)

NEW KEY BINDING: SPACE

NOTES:

  • Now can only be activated while in the air. So you will need to jump before you can activate Outburst.
  • This ability now more or less works like Hanzo or lifeweaver's lunge/dash ability

HEALING PYLON (REWORKED)

NEW KEY BINDING: E

Cool-Down:

  • 15 seconds (default)
  • 25 seconds (under attack)

Healing: 45 over 0.45 seconds (to allies and self)

Rate of fire: 1.25 shots/s

Health: 100

Shields: 100

Cast Time: 0.08 + 0.8 seconds

Duration: 20 seconds

Max. Range: 18 meters

NOTES:

  • Healing prioritizes the hero with the lowest health percentage within the pylon's range.
  • Cooldown starts immediately after the duration has expired or it has been destroyed by an enemy player.
  • Once the duration is complete, the pylon will destroy itself and go on it's default cool-down.
  • If the pylon is destroyed by an enemy player, it will go on it's longer cool-down.
  • Illari can now only destroy the pylon with the Interact key after it has been deployed for at least 10 seconds. If it hasn't taken damage within the last 3 seconds, this has no effect on its cooldown (placing it on it's default cool-down).
