Overprotective brothers or fathers are so annoying

Hot take over here! Personally I find super duper overprotective fathers and brothers so annoying. I used to be like “cute”. But at some point they gotta stop. Like I get it the wife is usually ☠️ and they only have 1 girl which is the FL who is usually an adult women in child’s body or something. Like sometimes the overprotective nature hinders the relationship with the ML and sometimes other human being in general (animals included). Maybe it’s not a huge issue, but it’s weird😭 Like is that normal??? I’m pretty sure if any male species in my house were that protective I would’ve gone crazy😓
