Worst Best Picture nominees (non-winners)?

I always see a ton of talk about the worst movies to win Best Picture, some of which I agree and some that I don't, but I don't see too much talk about the worst movies that somehow got nominated for Best Picture despite poor reviews from critics and/or audiences.

I don't understand how Godfather III got a nomination, if it weren't a Godfather movie, I doubt it would ever have been nominated. Obviously it pails in comparison to the first two, but it was overall poorly received (largely because of Sophia Coppola), and even aside from her, it's just boring and seemed like an unnecessary sequel.

I absolutely hate The Blind Side. Not only do I find Sandra's nomination (let alone win) to be terrible, but the movie just feels like a Lifetime movie. There's nothing special about it to make it Best Picture worthy, especially when it only had one other nomination. I know this was the first year to have 10 nominees, but my god, there wasn't anything else?

I know Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close got nominated in a pretty weak year, but I haven't seen it, I just remember it being a shocker that it somehow got in.
