Should I try to remake Yandere Simulator my way?
Few weeks ago I replied to a post that asked how we would change the game, I said how I'd do it and many people told me they'd prefer it if I was the dev (hilarious tbh).
At first I didn't take it seriously since I have ZERO proggramming skills, I only know how to do decent storytelling and like to make art. HOWEVER, recently I decided to make a completely unrelated game (though some aspects will be inspired by Yandere Simulator's interaction systems), and then it hit me: I don't know how to make games!
So I was thinking... Should I make other games in the meantime to practice for my biggest project?
And I got the idea of remaking Yandere Simulator!
Of course, I'd take ages at doing that because I'd have to learn how to make games and 3d models, buuuut, in a distant future, I'd probably be able to (we also have to consider the fact that I'm still studying...)
So yeah, time isn't on my side here, so I get it if people don't want me to become the next YandereDev in terms of taking ages to just release a single rival, but WOULD any of you guys like to see what I manage to do in the next few years?
I'll be reading your replies!
EDIT: It's been 5 hours or so since I posted this, I didn't expect so many people to see it! Let alone even support my idea! If anyone is interested in seeing the development of this project, or helping me out, please send me a private message on this exact reddit account! Thank you for the advice!
