What led you to become an Orthodox Christian?

I’m curious about those who chose to become Orthodox Christians, excluding those who were born into Orthodox families and inherited the faith from birth. Specifically, for those like me who live in countries where Orthodoxy is not widely known or traditionally strong, what inspired you to make this decision?

As for me, I was once an atheist, but I converted to Islam and became a Muslim. However, the more I read the Quran and Hadith and interacted with other Muslims, the more I became convinced that Islam is a false religion and that Christianity is the truth. Over several years, I explored Christianity on my own. Due to my aversion to Protestantism, I did not consider it an option, and I focused on researching Orthodoxy and Catholicism. In the end, I came to believe that Orthodoxy was the right path for me.
