Credit transfer entry to Top-up BEng (Hons) course (Q78)

A little background to begin with: I hold an ordinary bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, which I completed at a technological university in the Republic of Ireland in 2021. This qualification is at level 7 on Ireland's qualifications framework and (roughly) translates to FHEQ level 6. I believe undertaking the OU's Top-up BEng (Hons) course (Q78) should bring me up to level 8 on the Irish framework (Honours Bachelor level).

About a week ago I sent in my credit transfer form, alongside my transcripts showing my previous study. The autoreply said it can take up to 8 weeks to process the credit transfer. I'm just a bit surprised at the seemingly small level of paperwork needed for the application (just the one form and my evidence of previous study), and I'm a little concerned that I may have missed something big.

Would anyone else on here have successfully applied to Q78 in a similar manner to me in the past; what does the process typically require and involve?
