Failed G2 Walkley
So today I went for my G2 test at Walkley and I failed. First of all because my test was around 3 PM and it was really really busy. I got super nervous I even blocked the crosswalk. From the drive test center he asked me to turn left and since the road is very busy I had to wait quite a while for the road to clear up so I can go into the median (the examiner asked me to pick up the speed and I know it’s not a good sign).
After I’m on the median apparently the road is really busy too so I had to wait AGAIN for the road to clear up and of course the examiner is not happy with it. I went off the median go to right side and suddenly there’s car was waiting to merge in to the road and the examiner touch my wheel (already bad sign of course). So yeah he asked me to go straight up to the road on walkley and he asked me to turn left into Hampstead Place which I’m not familiar at all with the route (I know I should have been ready with any route).
Then turn left to Notting Hill Avenue then turn right to Jasper Avenue. From Jasper he asked me to go to the left to Kitchener Avenue that’s where I got extremely failed. I didn’t know it’s not all way stop sign. The stop sign is just for my street. The other street doesn’t have any stop sign and they have right of way. So I was about to turn left and when there’s car from my left side coming. So he had to push the brake. It’s dangerous and I should have been more aware about my surrounding area. From Kitchener he asked me to turn left to Albion road all the way right to walkley again and come back to drive test.
I knew that I failed by the time I came back to the drive test. My suggestion is just take the test when it’s rush hour. The earlier is better also be more aware for your surrounding area.
