Good Apartment Complex?

Moving to Omaha from Iowa for a job. 21 years old and am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment for girlfriend and I. It seems like every place I find has nightmare reviews. I wanted to ask if anyone would be able to recommend a decent place/area to live in Omaha? I want to rent first maybe the first year or so and then plan on purchasing a home. Any help is much appreciated, thank you!
