Quitting

I have had it with OD, or at least my store. I've been treated like hot garbage since day 1 and im ready to move on. I have another job lined up but was wondering if i need to properly fill out a "two week notice" or if i can just throw in the towel. 2 weeks is really long considering I'd like to start this new job ASAP. Any advice from someone who has quit or is quitting?
