Women can be techs too you prick

So I’m sure you guys figured out that I pretty much work in any department I’m needed. Well Monday-Wednesday I’m ops and tech cause our tech doesn’t work those days. So I get almost all of the tech calls and questions (the only thing I can’t do is repairs cause they refuse to train me for them) I had a guy come in yesterday asking about a cable splitter. He said it was for his cell phone, not his home phone. So I was ringing people out and told him to give me a minute and wait by the tech bench. He stares at me the whole time and I called over my manager (he was the only other person in the floor) to check to see if he could help cause I would be a while. 10 or so mins pass and I’m still up front, the guy comes up with a splitter for his home phone all smug and just is like “if you didn’t know what I was talking about you could’ve just said something and I would’ve found the tech guy” I was like I understood you but I’m running two departments right now and I’m the tech today cause my tech guy is off until Thursday. His next response was “well considering most women have no idea about tech stuff I just was trying to make your life easier by asking the guy for help” like no gtfo I’m done with you. Never come here again.
