Does Obsidian really have a measurable impact on your lives?
I’ve been studying Obsidian for a week as a way to organize my knowledge and create my "second brain." One of the things I’m concerned about is whether Obsidian can actually make a noticeable impact on my life.
For instance, I work in the healthcare field. My concerns include staying up-to-date, studying for a major evaluation I’ll face soon, keeping organized notes about the cases I handle, and developing small projects using information technology in my workplace. Additionally, I have interests not directly related to healthcare, such as productivity, literature, philosophy, and finance.
I’m very interested in a tool that helps me manage everything, but I find it difficult to imagine all this content being organized rather than chaotic. Moreover, I’m afraid of putting a lot of effort into it, spending a significant amount of time, and ending up with just a big mental exercise with no real results.
For those with longer experience using the software, could you share a bit about your experience and the specific problems Obsidian has solved for you? This would help me decide and motivate myself better.
