Today I cancelled my Noom subscription
I started in September 2024. Followed the diet religiously. Did everything the app said to do. I lost around 10 pounds within the first month, so it really was mostly water. I went up and down the same f*cking 5 pounds over and over and over again. The only time I consistently lost was when I ate 1000 calories or less, and this clearly wasn't sustainable or healthy. I was hungry most of the time no matter how many calories I ate. I exercised, mostly walking 3 miles a day with an elevation increase of 320 feet, so not an easy walk.
In December I took Christmas off and thought about what I was going to do going forward. I came to the conclusion that I just can't live like this, being hungry ALL the time with cravings that never stopped, it was brutal. So I did a 180, and now I am eating keto, and doing 18/6 intermittent fasting. Never hungry and cravings are zero!
I know Noom works for some people, and that is great, but I believe there are a lot of people it doesn't work for, and it is for those people that I am writing this. You are not the only one, give it up and try something else.
