If an MMA fighter is constantly injured, needing surgeries, stitches, etc, would you consider them healthy?

I was listening to Joe Rogan today, as I often do. He often points out how fat people are unhealthy, especially body positive fat people. But it hit me today: If someone participates in a sport that constantly causes bodily injury and are constantly recovering from injuries (boxing, MMA, football, etc), does that make them unhealthy as well? I’m not saying that they are physiologically unhealthy of course. They have cardio stamina, etc. But they are always in pain, always injured, shortening their bodily abilities as they age due to the choices they are making. Is it just a different type of unhealthyness. Curious to hear other peoples’ thoughts on this subject.
