When a director has ‘Final Cut privileges’ over their movie, could they hypothetically put a 10 minute black screen in the middle of the movie?

You hear a lot of stories about directors such as Christopher Nolan who negotiate for ‘full creative control’ and ‘Final Cut privileges’ on their movie, and I had a question: hypothetically, could they use this full creative control to do just about anything? Could Christopher Nolan hypothetically put 10 minutes of black screen in the middle of his movie? Or are there legal measures preventing him from doing literally anything?
