Are there other successful low-edit talking head channels like penguinz0?

I've been messing around with content creation for the last four months and find that I am most comfortable in a talking-head situation that isn't heavily edited. My shorts have really found an audience on Instagram (up to 3500 followers with multiple reels over 100K views and lots of engagement) and I've had a few big hits on TikTok as well.

But that success has not translated to YouTube. And none of the long-form videos I have tried in different formats talking about different topics have worked, either. As I study what's trending and successful YouTube channels in general, they are all very high-energy with tons of edits. That's just not my style. I don't think that I'm boring or low-energy, per se, but nothing like those.

The one exception to the rule I've found is moistcritikal, aka penguinz0, who gets tons of views just sitting in his room talking to camera with a couple of light edits. My guess is that his success with this format is due to the fact that he built an audience at a very different time on YouTube and is also a very successful streamer/gamer. So the audience is already there vs. building it up with that format.

Are there other channels like his that are successful? I'd love to study them and see if I could learn anything. It's possible I'm simply not right for YouTube, but I'm curious if there are low-edit talking head channels out there that have found success that I'm unaware of. Thanks!
