What are your honest thoughts on reaction channel content ?

I saw this post in a YouTube Suport Facebook group and wanted to get the group's thoughts on it

I know this is gonna sound judgemental to some, but so be it. Stop doing reaction videos. You have so much more to offer the world than your reaction to a show or someone’s TikTok. You are an individual that has a unique combination of skills, talents, life experience, and worldviews. You can provide so much more value, education and entertainment to people than just your face gasping or laughing at someone else’s video.

And blatantly, unless you’re a well-known person or already have a loyal fan base, why would anyone care about a random person’s reaction to something?

I personally believe (Trailer reactions to movies and TV Shows) that they are quick and easy to put together and im a movie review channel So trailer reactions do a dual purpose the reaction itsself and the i have a base copy of the trailer footage to use during the actual review i'll do later down the line
