how to not gaf about being new

I have a skatepark down the road from my house but i never go anymore bc i’m embarrassed😭 i used to skate but never to the point of doing tricks .. ive been told by someone there that my skateboard is really shit (it is)…now i feel too shy to skate there in case people judge me, they’re all so good. how do i get over that someone pls??
