Haleigh Hall Knight (HHK) / the Final Stitch - a review from the infamous cheese robe customer
First of all, I would like to preface this post as saying I am not a liar. Her Tik Tok was full of false claims and I greatly dislike having my integrity questioned. This is my truth- you can be the judge. Don’t worry girls- I am happy to provide receipts!
I reached out to Haleigh Hall Knight in July after seeing her heavily advertised on GMFB. I thought I could trust her after seeing so many reviews. I had no idea she was paying anyone for reviews. I sent her a group of 5 ornaments to be finished on July 15th. August 5th I reached out to make sure she received my package since I hadn’t heard anything. She told me she had it and was almost done and she was having issues with her automated emails. She told me was slightly behind because she had the flu. To which I was NICE. August 14th, she sent me pictures of my items completely untouched asking for fabric preferences and cording choices. I honestly was so excited to see the pictures I ignored the fact she LIED when she told me they were almost done on August 5th. September 13th I reached out about an ETA and she didn’t reply so I reached out September 16th about it. She told me they would be returned Friday the 20th. On September 23 she messaged me and said “2 things, did you get the approval images? Secondly, did you still want more spots? I’m closing up for the season so I wanted to touch base with those who said they wanted more” I replied “I have not received final images and I was hoping to receive the finishing back before committing to more. I have probably 30 things to be finished at this point” (I never said I would send her 30😂) I got videos right away from her and she told me she would tentatively save 30 or so finishing spots for me and that we can move forward when I received this batch. She paid additional to two day my items back to me and I received my items September 27th. That’s a far cry from her current shipping practices.
Sept 28th she pressured me about taking the last finishing spots. I had just got home from a trip and told her I was happy with the finishing except one was misaligned and I would send her more but would like her to fix it. We went back and forth about what I would send. She offered discounts for larger orders. I asked her how many slots she had available because I didn’t want to overwhelm her and I didn’t know what promises she had made others and I specifically said “I would rather receive in time to enjoy a little this season and can always send more in January” I WOULD NOT HAVE PAID THE MONEY RIGHT BEFORE THE HOLIDAY SEASON IF I HAD KNOWN I WASN’T GOING TO GET THE ITEMS BACK IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON. This is where she perpetrated the first LIE.
Thank god my husband shot me down when I said I was thinking about sending her 20 items. I decided I would send 10 but was waiting to send until I got the backing I ordered. She badgered me a few different times about paying the invoice, sending them, ect. I was very busy at the time with Hurricane Milton. I finally sent out the 13 plus the one she was supposed to fix from the previous order on October 17th. I sent her proofs so she knew exactly what she would be receiving. I paid additional for the rush fee. By October 21st I hadn’t heard anything so I messaged her. She said it was in her hands. I know it was delivered on October 19th. By October 29th — already past the 5 day guarantee I reached out again. She said almost done should have them out tomorrow or Thursday. Which were more lies all the while I am being KIND, gentle, and understanding because that is who I am!
To address why I didn’t reply when she finally sent the photo on Jan 3rd. I was seething. I did not want to loose my head with her. I have tried to keep all communication cordial and respectful. I also didn’t want her to retaliate against me. As you can see, we discussed the 3-D cheese wedge finishing, so for her to finish my item flat and upside down felt like retaliation. She was still holding my property valued over $1500. I was 100% fearful about not getting my order back at all. In her tik tok comments she lied when she said she me photos 3 days before dropping my items off. She sent me the first photo on 1:11pm January 3rd and shipped at 10:45am Jan 4th. That is a downright lie. I feel like I have had to fight tooth and nail, while also tip toeing around to get her to communicate with me and send me my belongings back. She has blocked several people that I am aware of. After seeing my projects - I can tell they are not of the same quality I had previously received from her. I will have to make another post to show the current finishing quality vs what I received in the summer. It’s not even comparable.
All of this shows a disturbing pattern of behavior. This was never really an issue about missed deadlines. My summer order was missed as well. It’s the never ending LIES and DECEPTION. I think this is important information to share. If I can save anyone the heartache and anxiety this has caused me, then I will.
