Viability of Doomscythes?

My beloved Doomscythe has been sitting on the shelf for ages, primed, and longs for some paint. Motivate me to get started by sharing your success/fun you've had with your death croissants recently! I know flyers aren't exactly in the spotlight, and the high points make it less attractive compared to a DDA, but rule of cool, right? Could they have a place in Starshatter?
