Karin is probably the most wasted female character in the series.

• Be a new generation Uzumaki.

• Potential to show your clan's sealing jutsu (more than what was shown)

• It's one of the best sensors in the series and has an interesting kekke-genkai.

• It has a sad past (unfortunately it is filler).

  • Could create bonds with the protagonist who is from the same clan.
  • In the end being the biggest fan-girl of the series and the most annoying character.

• Karin is not useless, far from it, but she could be much more than what was shown.

Many people complain about Sakura - sometimes with reason - for being a fan-girl and having a childish crush. But, at least she got over it after the Wave arc and just wanted to save her former teammate from the darkness.

While Karin often makes "jokes" of trying to abuse Sasuke when he is sleeping, at any opportunity she throws herself at him and is completely irritating.

The worst moment is when Sasuke literally stabs her in the heart and almost dies, and in the War arc she does the same thing as before. Instead of creating a strong female character, Kishimoto created a crazy woman who only cares about a guy based on his appearance.
