Kraken Elite

I am building my fist aesthetic pc and had a question I wanted to ask. First I live near a micro center but just wanted to know if the kraken elite 2024 version is really that much better the the 2023 version. I like the design of the old one more. What is the preference? Should I buy the new me for the features?
