Roles of different linemen?

How different are the responsibilites of the various linemen? I mean this on both the offensive and defensive line. Apart from the obvious differences like the center snaps the ball while the other O-lineman don't. But, is there a fundamental difference in the way that a center, guard, or tackle will block?

I think I understand the answer to this question a little bit better for D-linemen. Like the edge rushers have more of a responsibility to contain while the middle rushers may just be focused on getting to the QB and possibly stopping the run. But I am also curious to learn more about how the responsibilities of defensive lineman vary.
