Miso soup mushrooms

For years I haven’t been able to find results for which kind of mushroom or confirm they might be enoki, but when I stayed in Japan with host family, we had home made miso with tiny mushrooms. I asked what they were because I loved them but due to communication issue I never found out.

They were tiny and light brown and short stem (might have been cut short) with rounded but flattish tops. Not bulbous like enoki. They didn’t taste like anything at all. Just miso soup. I like them because they’re extremely cute ☺️
