Movies to watch while distracted?

I like putting movies on while doing other things, but there are some that work better for that than others.

Action movies are terrible because you miss seeing all the cool sequences. Most horror/thrillers are the same, too many purely visual details get missed and the atmosphere is completely lost.

Movies with a lot of dialogue tend to work best. Rom-coms (even though they are my least favorite genre) where the whole plot is characters talking to each other. Or the less-blockbuster grade of sci-fi, where the smart character has to explain the plot points to the dumb one (and incidentally educate the audience on the rules of the universe).

So internet, what flicks would you recommend for "watching" with only half an attention span at best?
