Difference between streaming to Steamlink and Moonlight on CCwGTV

Title says it all. What is the difference between streaming to Steamlink and Moonlight? I use a Chrome Cast with Google TV (4K).

I am currently using Steamlink on CCwGTV and its laggy. Will Moonlight be better?
