Fuel vs brushless grinder
My 4-1/2" m18 fuel grinder died yesterday. It either has a bearinhpg out or the brake is stuck on which I habe heard can happen. Either way it is 8 years old with lots of miles. Comparing prices and on Home Depot's site found the brushless 2682-20 for $99 and the 2880-20 Fuel with a 5a starter pack for $149. Both special buys. Usually I would jump at the chance of a battery for $50 but thats how I ended up with 19 m18 batteries already. Grinder for grinder, besides rapid stop, is there an advantage to the fuel? I bought the fuel when I burned up my old brushless one but don't want to take a step back. Lateral move?
