Rollover safety protection for daily driving.
Hi there! I have had my heart set on getting a 1990-1997 NA Miata as my first car ever since I set my eyes on one.
For some context, recently my father has offered me $8000 CAD for my first car but his main concern is that he doesn't think a miata is safe enough due to it being a convertible and my safety if it rolls. I totally understand his worries for me as his only daughter but he has said we can come to a comprimise if I find a way to make it up to his safety standards... lol!
That is why I am reaching out to reddit to see what (street legal for Ontario, Canada) steps I can make to convice him to help me get this car. Whether its intalling a roll bar, or a seat with a harness. Any insight would be appricated!
