ND2 RF intake note way way way too quiet.
I have a 2021 ND2 RF Grand Touring. Manual, like God intended. It's Soul Red. BBR GTi Super 200 bits and pieces, but still waiting on these idiots to send me my tune stuff. I've been emailing and calling them since... May. Anyway. That's not the point.
It's a hopelessly impractical candy apple red manual RWD roadster. Why oh why is the intake note so hopelessly quiet. Even with the "intake tube" this thing would make anyone fall asleep at the wheel.
Have these people ever heard an NSX? An ITR? Why is that intake note so... lame? No aftermarket intake sounds even remotely like what I'm looking for either.
I want an intake that sings like a choir, makes my parts tingle with excitement, and forces me to show off my background in singing just to hold a candle to it.
Miata people! Please save my ears from terrible boredom! I want this thing to make me hot and bothered in the loins! PLEASE HELP ME GET EXCITED!
EDIT: Why are you all petty and useless (except that one dude that actually contributed)? "It can't sound good". "Get an NC (despite it being a very similar engine)". "Get something with an H6/V10".
No, I'm not buying another car. I'm not swapping the engine. That wasn't the question at hand for good reason. If you don't know the answer, just, you know, don't answer!
Except that guy who actually sent a video and a valid hypothesis. You're cool. Go buy yourself a chocolate shake, you deserve it.
If such a product does not exist, I'll just design one, as I always have. I could have figured that out without all the negativity. Oh, time to get the computer and the welder going I guess.
