Need help understanding a strange tapping sound that woke me up this morning. Is this a common way for spirits to communicate?

Hi everyone, I’m feeling a bit lost right now and not sure what to make of this experience, as my thoughts feel all over the place and my intuition seems blocked.

This is my first time back home since my sister passed away in January. Yesterday, my heart felt very heavy. I sat in her room, crying and talking to her.

This morning, I woke up to a strange tapping sound that lasted for about 5-10 minutes. I didn’t sense anything unusual or strange energy around me. I just stayed in bed, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. It wasn’t the clock or tapping on the wall. It sounded like something was tapping on the glass of an old manual scale in the room.

After a while, I got up to check if there was any water dripping on the scale, which would have been very unusual. As soon as I approached the scale, the tapping stopped. I’ve never heard this sound anywhere else in the house or in my room.

Could this be a sign from my sister, a way of her letting me know she’s with me? How can I communicate with her without having any special abilities?
