ENG VS MED

Hi! I’ve been doing some research over the past few days and wanted to get your thoughts on something:

  • Civil Engineering vs. MedTech

How do these two compare in terms of salary, job opportunities (like how easy it is to find work after graduation and passing the board exams), and overall career outlook Specifically, I’m curious about how many MedTech professionals hospitals typically need or hire. My parents have been quite negative about this, so I’m reaching out to others for their input. Any thoughts or suggestions would really help.

For context: - I'm a 2nd-year Civil Engineering student. - I'm feeling unsure about my future and not entirely happy in my current course.

Thanks in advance!
