Brake imprint
I drive manual with an electronic e brake. I went on vacation for 2 weeks and came back to a sound when braking and the brakes were smelling hot after driving for 10 minutes. Took it in to look at the rotors as it sounded as it was warped and it’s a brand new car. They said it is from extended e brake use or braking too hard but it is only imprinted on the back rotors. Is there a way to alleviate this issue in the future? And is it possible to get rid of the imprints until new rotors are needed? It only has 7k on the car so I won’t need new rotors for a while.
