Something like Library of heavens path?

Dont get me wrong I read fuck all of this novel but I liked the premise of this knowledge based library but I couldn't stand the pathetic and moronic main character. I am not looking for a top level mastermind like Fang Yuan but at the very least someone with his own personality and aspirations and with similar premise of the novel.
