Husband refuses to go to doctors

I am fed up with it. He won’t go . I’ve search the internet and I know I’m in good company. ( or bad as it were ) . He’s a type 2 diabetic- has hemochromatosis, 52 and overweight. About 6 years ago he lost weight and was on Keto and basically put him self in remission( a1 C normal ) but that was a very long time ago . I asked him to go but he won’t- he refuses to do anything to change his lifestyle ( eats terrible and slowly gaining back the 75 pounds he lost ). He’s depressed, he feels terrible off and on. Doesn’t sleep well, no energy, terrific heartburn. I know it’s him not me but it feel like a fucking slap in the face that my partner of 36 years refuses to do anything about it ! I don’t want to be his caregiver in our old age for things he has total control about. And I don’t want to live a long life with him dying much younger than me 😭. Nothing, literally nothing will make him go.

Edit - I bit the bullet and ordered some tests on line. I’ll tell him the day of and drag him. He will Probably be pissed at me for a long time but I’m Sick of it.
