Would you choose your spouse over your parent?
Let’s assume that you care for both of them pretty equally (obviously if you hate your parent but love your spouse, you’re gonna pick spouse) but let’s say you cared for them both equally…and let’s say you were forced to pick between them. Who would you pick? I think about this a lot, and I wonder if it’s a prerequisite for marriage? Should you only marry someone that you love so much that you’d pick them over your family? I’m not even in this situation but I contemplate it a lot. Interested in your views! Thank you!
