What's your experience with pack stations in the Beta

I stole a region claim off the baron but it has no iron. I have built a pack station in both regions involved in trading and have a mule in the region im sending stuff from.

Iron ore for meat with a 1.5x trade value

But I haven't manned it yet.

Read alot of people having problems and some aren't but the posts I'm finding are months old.

Wondering if I just import the ore in the region that needs it through my trading post.
