Glasses wearers doing makeup

I wear glasses (not contacts) and it’s really frustrating that I do my makeup and think I look great (using a magnifying mirror) and then as soon as I put on my glasses I realise I look a mess.

Any glasses wearers got any tips for doing makeup with glasses or do I need to bite the bullet and get contacts?
