I have a huge problem on madden 24

I made it to the Super Bowl last season and lost but made it to the afc championship twice, Super Bowl once and made the playoffs 5/5 times, now I have this player the best young rusher in the game avg 16 sacks a season but I’m -5.5M in cap space even tho I traded my 86 rated FS who’s 28 years old making 8M a season and some how my cap went from 7M to -5.5M how?

Need some help here please
