1,400 dollar budget. Best laptop to buy?

Hello everyone! I'm going to college soon, and I need a new laptop for my engineering degree (and gaming lol). My last laptop has served me well, which is why I would prefer a msi laptop. What would be the best most reliable laptop for the price? I'm eyeing the msi crosshair 16 hx.
