[Admissions Advice] Need help in shortlisting universities for MS CS Fall 2025 in USA

Hello everyone,
I am looking for some advice on how to shortlist universities for my Master's in Computer Science. I'm a bit uncertain about which ones to focus on, so I’d really appreciate any guidance based on my qualifications.

My Qualifications:

CGPA: 9.17 Tier 3 - India

Internships:

• 4 months internship as a Software Engineer Intern at a startup.
• 4 months Summer Intern in Google Summer Of Code 2024.
• 6 months Research Internship at a top IIT.

Papers:

• One paper in IEEExplore.
• A book chapter published in Springer Nature.
• Another paper to be registered in Scopus Index.

TOEFL-110

GRE- Have not taken yet but expecting of score of 325

Extra:

• Participated and won 2 Major Web3 hackathons.
• Lead a technical society in my college.
• 3-4 good projects (Mix of ML, and software development)
• 3 LOR's all from professors.
• Completed several certifications as well.

I have applied to

• UC, San Diego
• UC, Davis
• UMass Amherst
• USC

I'm not sure how to go about shortlisting the rest. Could someone please help? I am thinking of applying to Texas A&M University-College Station (MSCS OR MCS), Stony Brook, UIUC MCS, University of Wisconsin-Madison (MSCS-PMP), NEU MSCS.

Are there any other universities I should focus on? And will I still get an admit for the NEU main campus if I apply now or is it too late?

Also is work experience a requirement for the UWM’s PMP program or UIUC’s MCS program?
