10 rings origin

I know it wouldn't be comic accurate, but that's never really stopped the MCU before so...could the 10 rings have come from Phastos and the Eternals? I know Ajak and Gilgamesh were already dead when Phastos decided to make them, but he could have made rings for them anyway to complete the set of 10. I'm assuming he made them from either part of or some metal they already had on their ship, so that would explain why Captain Marvel said they are "much older" than the 1000 years that Shang-Chi's father had them. From there the only question left is how did they come to be on Earth 1000 years before the Eternals created them to stop the emergence, but with all the time travel in the MCU now, they could easily make something up to explain that.
