My fiance and I are planning to move to Longmont, looking for some tips.

We're both really excited to get out of the U.P. and back to a more normal city. Anything you guys suggest as for where to look for an apartment (we have a dog and cat), best place to get a burrito, things to check out in the surrounding areas?

Also anything we should be aware about traffic wise, Colorado specific or even things to avoid to be more safe would be greatly appreciated.
