Lights problems with Pro X TKL

I've a strange problem and I can't figure it out if my keyboard is defective or not.

I've removed light control for other app from G HUB settings and set NEVER to turn off light from keyboard settings.

The problem is: sometimes when the keyboard goes in inactivity mode and I press a key to restore it, the lights don't turn on, they stay totally turned off. I need to manually turn off and on the keyboard to restore the lights

Is this something related to G HUB that is well known to be the worst software ever made, or my could my keyboard be defective that
