Anyone else feel helpless when their rent is raised?

I just received my renewal notice and I’m freaking out. I live in a small one bedroom apartment in metro Detroit Michigan and pay $1,125 per month with nothing included. They just raised my rent $100 more per month and I don’t know what to do. I’m contemplating moving back to my parents basement (I’m 28f) because I don’t know what else to do. I already live on a sparce amount of groceries and can barely afford to live. How do you all deal with rent increases? Does it cause you stress/anxiety?
